Cebu Pacific (CEB) starts flying its direct Manila-Guangzhou service from Oct. 10.
CEB’s 150-seater A319 Manila-Guangzhou service operates four-times weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight departs from Manila at 7:20pm and arrives at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 9:30pm. The return flight leaves Guangzhou at 10:15pm and arrives in Manila at 12:25am the following day.
"We are proud to be the only Philippine carrier to operate a direct service between Manila and Guangzhou and we hope that Filipinos will take advantage of our low fares to visit China. More importantly, we hope to encourage the entry of tourists from China as this is the thrust of the Department of Tourism as well," Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product said.
Guangzhou’s must-see tourist attractions include the South China Botanic Garden, Zhenhai Tower, Qingping Market, Litai Waterfalls and the Pearl River Cruise. It is one of the most progressive cities in China with local and foreign tourists visiting Guangzhou every April and October for the much-awaited Guangzhou Trade Fair.
CEB’s lowest one-way, year round "Go" fare to Guangzhou starts from P999, a price cut of 83% from the current fares for this route. The fare is exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.
Iyog added, "The best way to purchase tickets is through CEB’s website, www.cebupacificair.com, though this is also available through CEB ticket offices and accredited travel agents."
